Progress formed 5 years ago with the merger of the band Tone Color Massive and the artist Innate. Both with having spent most of their lives living for music. Together they grew to encompass many funky styles, from Blues, to hip hop, rock and latin carib. The brotherhood gained through the music carries the intent behind the sound. With their eclectic mix of styles and personalities they have played over 75 shows throughout New York City in the past 3 years. The philosophy is the groove, both in work and in music, they play for the steps forward. Its music with a conscious, told with a sense of humor. lyrics

Don’t want your problems baby
Cuz I’ve already got my own
And when you call me baby
It don’t mean I’m sitting at home
I’m just a, lying in the fields oh baby
watching these crowds pass
And I don’t want your illusions baby
I’ve got enough for mine to last

I want your music baby
I want your good good good good vibes
I want your music baby
I want to keep you
keep you
satisfied well all right

Don’t need your issues baby
I cry all on my own
When I’m out in the world now darlin
I still want to think about you on my own
Don’t have no issues baby
When I’m out here doing my thing
I don’t want your problems baby
Cuz I just let mine swing

I want your music baby
I want your good good good good vibes
I want your music baby
I want to keep you
keep you
satisfied well all right

When I want to come home
At the end of the day
You’re the only one that I think of
When I want to come home at the end of the day
You’re the only one I dream of

I don’t need no perseverance
I don’t don’t need no change
All I wanted was progress baby
Lets move forward and do the same

I want your music baby
I want your good good good good vibes
I want your music baby
I want to keep you
keep you
satisfied well all right
