Progress formed 5 years ago with the merger of the band Tone Color Massive and the artist Innate. Both with having spent most of their lives living for music. Together they grew to encompass many funky styles, from Blues, to hip hop, rock and latin carib. The brotherhood gained through the music carries the intent behind the sound. With their eclectic mix of styles and personalities they have played over 75 shows throughout New York City in the past 3 years. The philosophy is the groove, both in work and in music, they play for the steps forward. Its music with a conscious, told with a sense of humor. lyrics

You do right, you do right
You get it get it
You stay right stay righteous
take it take it
On On On On
Take me home

You do right, you do right
You get it get it
You stay right stay righteous
take it take it
On On On On
Take me home

Want to sign me up for it
Want to define it for me
Want to say what it is to me
Want to tell me what to believe
But I only believe what I read
And I don’t read everything

Want to tell me what it’s all about
Want to scream and shout
Off the top of the roofs
Like you got all the proof
But got no evidence
we the heaven sent
Trying to tell them whats truth out here right

You do right, you do right
You get it get it
You stay right stay righteous
take it take it
On On On On
Take me home

You do right, you do right
You get it get it
You stay right stay righteous
take it take it
On On On On
Take me home

Things that you claim to see
Things that I’ve never seen
Things that you claim that you’ve been
That you’ve never been
In a world full of sin

Trying to break your way out
Trying to make your way up
Try to make your way up
And still not give a fuck
Know what it is
Know about the biz
Trying to make it
But it’s all a game right

You do right, you do right
You get it get it
You stay right stay righteous
take it take it
On On On On
Take me home

You do right, you do right
You get it get it
You stay right stay righteous
take it take it
On On On On
Take me home
