Progress formed 5 years ago with the merger of the band Tone Color Massive and the artist Innate. Both with having spent most of their lives living for music. Together they grew to encompass many funky styles, from Blues, to hip hop, rock and latin carib. The brotherhood gained through the music carries the intent behind the sound. With their eclectic mix of styles and personalities they have played over 75 shows throughout New York City in the past 3 years. lyrics

Ain’t no...
reason for a man to kill
put another man in a landfill
watch him decompose
go to blows
pony shows
do or die
do and delve
show and tell
so propel
so take yourself out of the world as well removing yourself finding your way finding your way
losing just another day
I say oh

Ceasefire... don’t smoke the brothers...
Ceasefire... dont let em drown let em drown let em drown

Want to aim it to me
wanna claim that you’re so righteous
want to raise your fist
want to resist
want to be kissed
want to be loved
want to try it all
wanna buy it all
live and be a rich man
but you got no plan
got no land to stand on
or even own your home
...
well love it til its gone
love it until they use it
as long as they let you abuse it
as long as they let you take it
never lived enough to make it so you fake it
until you break it
and everything shatters on the floor
and we’re back at zero once again and forever more

Ceasefire... don’t smoke the brothers...
Ceasefire... dont let em drown let em drown let em drown

wanna cry for me
wanna lie for me
oh she wanna die for me want me to fly to be free want her to fly too
don’t know what we’ve been through
don’t know how much further we have to go but as long as we still grow we can go baby
try to make sense out of time
try to make sense out of my mind the world is so plastic
the world is so tragic
everybody dies one day
and thats all there is to say losing your way
still trying to find mine
and watch the sun as it shines

Ceasefire... don’t smoke the brothers...
Ceasefire... dont let em drown let em drown let em drown
Ceasefire... don’t smoke the brothers...
Ceasefire... dont let em drown let em drown let em drown
